I must apologise to all of ze hopeful detectives vishing to learn ze art of crime solving but I have been vorking tirelessly looking at ze clues from ze "Kamen Mask's" attack on ze museum. If you cast your mind back to ven it occured you vill remember zat he stole a blue sapphire known as "Emannon's Tear" I zink it vas. After his miraculous vanishing act I haven't seen him since, but I have gained ground in ze investigation of course vat ground I have gained is highly confidential.
Eizer vay I vas furious zat he managed to give me ze slip, but now I am calmer I can chase ze clues up and catch him when he least expects it!
Little much else has happened, I'm settled down now in LA, even zough I haven't had much chance to meet anybody else... I vonder if zere is somevere I can meet new people and relax...

Velcome to ze abstract intellectual banquet, zat is my journal.
I am Aiga Hoshiidake, Master Detective! My expertise knows no bounds, alzough I am at a loose end right now, because I am being transferred to Los Angeles, vere zey need my expertise more. I am sure zat ze officers zere vill benefit from my presence and possibly even learn a zing or two from me.
And so I bid my final au revoir to my past colleagues and say bonjour to ze new, I eagerly anticipate meeting you all.

I just got home from anuzzer date vith Miss. May, ve vent to a quaint Italian bistro and then I picked up so files from vork vilst she vaited for me, zen ve had a valk. I must say, she seems to be echanted by my past acheivements and talents, however I am ze great Aiga so it doesn't surprise me. I'm sure she vill ring me soon and ve vill arrange anuzzer date. In ze meantime my search for ze Kamen Mask continues!
On a completely unrelated note somebody I know mentioned growing a moustache to me, and I vas vondering if everybody else zinks it vould accentuate my noble looks and my aura of sophistication?
Vell zere is little news to report, I zink I'll have a drink and read some more of my book by ze fire for a vile. |

Last night I noticed zere vas a news special broadcasted about ze Kamen Mask. I sat through an hour of it! And it vas all wrong! Zey didn't even mention me during ze whole broadcast! How could zey simply not mention zat Aiga Hoshiidake, ze Master Detective is now vorking on ze case?! Hmph. Ze only detectives zey mentioned vas a blundering fool who also got his car damaged recently and Detective Marshall who vas at Moroheiya's home ven ze Kamen Mask attacked. It vas outrageous! Vat sort of TV show simply forgets to mention ze man who is on ze Kamen Mask's tail?!
I recorded ze show anyvay, incase zere are any possible leads in zere zat I might have missed (vich is extremely unlikey, since I am a master detective.)
Alzough on a lighter note. I visited Miss May recently and she showed me how to alter my suit zat I asked about, and as zanks I offered to take her to ze Italian restaurant in town. She said yes of course, but who vouldn't vish to go? She leaped at the opportunity to spend some time vith ze master detective who is chasing ze Kamen Mask! Unlike some certain TV Producers who plan to make zeir poor quality TV show vithout consulting an expert on ze Kamen Mask first! |

Nozing interesting has happened in ze past few days, ozzer zan ze Police ceremonies remembering zose who have fallen and zose who have helped keep ze streets safe. I recieved a letter from a precinct I used to vork for and solved many crimes zat ze ozzers could not, vich vas razzer touching.
Anyvay, to ze point of my entry! I vas thinking about holding a dinnerparty vith my colleagues, to commemorate ze Police Veek and remember ze great Policemen. Ze police and prosecutors are invited, if you vish to come zat is. Just let me know if you vant to come and I'll write up a menu. I'm sure zat zose who died on duty vould appreciate us raising a toast to zem and having a good time.
Also, I vas approached vith Private Detective vork, I vonder if it vould be a vorthvile persuit in my free time? I expect ze demand vill be high, being a high profile master detective. Alzough ze Kamen Mask seems to be quiet now. I have more free time now zat ze investigation is, regrettably, slowing down. Maybe I have scared him off? I imagine zat he is petrified of my abilities! He is a coward afterall! He just needs to make one tiny error and I vill have him in a prison cell!
(PS: Does anybody know anyzing about tailoring? I need to alter a suit and I might need some help, or pointers.) |

I haven't posted since ze Kamen Mask last struck, ze whole case has perplexed me so I spent some time out of town avay from ze distractions to zink on my own. Ze night air can really help. Anyvay, after much thought I came up vith a plan! Ze details of vich I cannot disclose, but it vill advance ze investigation onvard... perhaps ve vill hear from ze criminal soon enough!
Zis case is beginning to frustrate me. It is a battle of vits! Ze Kamen Mask vs. Ze Great Aiga Hoshiidake, he is my nemesis, ve are of similar stock alzough he is ze veaker! He vill slip up first and I vill be zere to catch him.
Ze office seems deadly quiet lately too, I zink I vill continue my investigation back at my home, if zat is okay vith my superiors. Vy vork in ze office if you can do just as much in ze comfort of your own home? Hm. I must perservere with zis case... I have underestimated ze Kamen Mask's abilities greatly, but he has underestimated mine also. |

| Vat Occured at ze Moroheiya Mansion |

I have decided to write an accurate account of ze night's events for my memoirs, from vich many detectives may learn and improve from.
Alzough ze night vasn't a complete success (ze Kamen Mask sneaked back after I had to leave) it vas fruitful and ze case progresses, the exact details of vich I am not at liberties to divulge, so here is my account of vat transpired zat night, vith classified information omitted of course.
I arrived zat evening optimistic, I knew zat ze Kamen Mask vould slip up zat night. I met vith Mr. Moroheiya who vas an incredibly gracious host he showed me his library and I commented on its lack of security as I vould have to attend to ze egg alone vith only my vits (vich are more zan enough) to defend ze egg. Moroheiya kindly left and vent about walking his halls quietly. So ze night continued uneventfully until I heard an alarm go off elsevere, I carefully left my post to investigate ven I saw ze Kamen Mask at ze end of ze hall! He bolted ven he saw me and I gave chase, eventually ve ended up running through ze gardens until I fell over and lost him, I zen headed back to ze Mansion victorious as ze Kamen Mask vas chased off. I decided to vait longer but some journalists fought and broke the vindshield of my car, so ven I vas driving zem to ze Police Station ze Kamen Mask struck and stole ze egg! As I said, zere are details missing, ve can't let ze criminals see our cards now can ve?
Now I have leads to follow, vich may lead to ze capture of ze Kamen Mask and ze return of ze egg to Mr. Moroheiya. |

As expected, Aiga Hoshiidake von ze Lord of ze Badge avard. After all, I am ze most talented detective in ze vorld at zis time.
I vas sat in zat vonderful room, enjoying a small glass of brandy ven zey started to announce ze avards. Miles Edgevorth von ze avard for ze best prosecutor, and vell deserved too! He is my counter part in ze courtroom! Me and him are both ze elite of our professions! Anvay, I digress. Ze time came for my avard to be handed over ven ze lights vent out and zat Kamen Mask appeared! I chased him to ze rooftop and I caught him but he resisted arrest! So I had no option to engage him in hand to hand combat! Luckily I know a special fighting technique, but it vas a showdown zat vas vorthy of Holmes and Moriarty! But alas! I grabbed my trophy from him, but as I did so he turned tail and ran avay like a coward!
I avait our next showdown Kamen Mask. And remember vat I said, it still stands. |

I have interviewed my first vitness, Miss Vendy Oldbag. I managed to glean two zings from her account of ze incident. Firstly, ze Kamen Mask is young... Miss Oldbag said he vould be in his tventies. Secondly I managed to get an accurate description of his appearance... I must say zis is startling information... but I believe zere may be a suspect. In ozzer vords, my chase to ze Kamen Mask is nearly over, ze Master Detective prevails over ze criminal. I von't disclose my information just yet, I vish to see any ozzer vitnesses first so I vill have more evidence.

Vell, ze Kamen Mask leaves little clues vonce again. I have deduced zat ze net left at ze scene vas home made, alzough ze grey hairs on ze net have given me a lead. A likely vitness! Ze only person vith hair like zat on site vould have to be ze Security Guard, Ms. Vendy Oldbag. So, I vould like to speak vith her regarding vat she saw zat night and about ze Kamen Mask.
If zere are any ozzer vitnesses who actually saw ze Kamen Mask or anyzing suspicious zat night for zat matter, I vould like to speak to zem to try and come up vith any clues as to zis mystery person's identity.

Vell, ze avay case vas solved, it vas quite easy really. Alzough I'm not at liberties to divulge ze specific details of ze case, in ozzer vords don't even ask about it.
Ze delayed return is due to a minor vehicle accident, my prized vintage Ford car is in for repairs, someone sverved at me during a tense car chase and I flew off into a tree, of course somezing as minor as zat didnt stop me! Ze murderer vas caught and prosecuted. Case Closed.
Also, I am infuriated to hear zat ze Kamen Mask found out I vas avay and struck, stealing a silly tv prop. If I vas here he vouldn't have dared try anyzing. Ze mysterious Kamen Mask is just a scared coward who takes advantage of ze fact only an old voman stood in his vay. Vell, I'd best head over to ze crime scene and look for clues... |

Ugh, sorry for ze lack of updates, vork vork vork, you know ze drill.
I got a phone call from a Precinct a few towns over, zey vant to use my skills to solve an on-going crime so I von't be around from ze 28th of February till ze 9th of March. So I have zis papervork to fill in, as vell as solve ze mystery of ze Kamen Mask. I'm just letting ze vorld know I'm okay and vell... if overvorked.
I'd better go back to my vork now. I heard zere vas an avards ceremony ven I get back too. I vonder if I vill vin any avards... |

It's Valentine's Day and vonce again I spend it alone. At least it'd very nearly over.
Lana Skye commended my vork on ze investigation into her assault, vezzer or not I vas on ze right track. I'm zinking of getting a pet, I vas vondering if anybody could recommend any type of dog? I'm zinking about getting a Bloodhound or Basset Hound, or anuzzer type of dog, I do not know yet.
Being a fan of literature I found somezing zat writes "your Haiku" so you can post it. So here is mine. I zink it's quite good!

I zink I found a likely suspect for ze Kamen Mask investigation, but nobody seems to zink zat Max Galactica could do such a zing. Maybe I'm ze only one who can see zis glaring likeness! I checked his records after talking to a lovely young lady on AOL Instant Messenger, she seemed to zink I vas on ze wrong track. I couldn't find anyzing significant on him... but still he IS awfully suspicious...

Damn. Zis investigation is taking alot of time. I've had alot on my plate, in other vords I've been too busy vith ze investigation to update. Neverzeless, I am updating now. Razer annoyingly I got to stand on the vitness stand but Officer Mako barged me off because my results veren't fully up to date... Vell, I vill be apprieciated as a great detective anyvay.
I can't help but zink, vy vould ze Kamen Mask vant zat evidence? He might... after all he did breach ze Prosecutor's Office recently too. In other vords, his last attack may have been a scouting misson! Ze Kamen Mask may have gone for something of value in ze office, got cornered by Miss Skye, and BAM! Hit her. Or he may have been sneaky and drugged her tea, as ze evidence suggests. It's a very loose connection but you can never rule ze Kamen Mask out of ze investigation!! |

Today a terrible crime happened. I vill solve it! I do not care vezzer Gumshoe is in charge or not, I vill be ze one who turns zis case around!
All I can disclose right now is zat it occurred in ze Prosecutor's Office and ze victim is Prosecutor Skye. Ze investigation is ongoing, but zat Gumshoe has arrested a suspect... ze fool he arrested probably couldn't even hurt a fly. I zink it is likely zat ze Kamen Mask is somehow involved, afterall he did commit zat offence on ze Blue Badger at ze Prosecutor's Office....

I've been vorking overtime lately, because of my awful behaviour at ze police lunch date, ze vork has done me good zough. I don't like zat Police Department building at night, I svear it is full of ghosts. I zink I am a few steps closer to getting ze Kamen Mask but apart from zat zere is nothing to report.
I vent down to the bookshop during my lunchbreak and bought two books, "Are YOU Dave Gorman?" and "Dave Gorman's Googlevack Adventure." I have only read ze first so far but it is very funny. Anybody vith a thirst for travel should read it.
I'm so tired now, I zink I'm going to go collapse in bed and listen to some music.
